Hello World

Every blog starts the same way. This one too. But at least I'll be honest about it.

Every blog starts with a post where the author explains why they started writing a blog. That's the iron rule of the internet.

Here's mine.

My name is Marcin. I run Cloud House — a solo software house where one developer and four AI agents build digital products. I don't have a marketing department, an account manager, or slides with a roadmap. What I do have is TypeScript, PostgreSQL, coffee, and an unshakeable conviction that most software can be done better.

I'm starting this blog for one reason: I want to write about things I actually do — not about concepts like "how to build X", but about what it actually looks like. With the full set of mistakes, decisions, and surprises along the way.

What you'll find here

I have a few obsessions that will probably show up in every other post:

Medusa.js and headless e-commerce — I've spent a lot of time on this stack. I'll write about what works, what doesn't, and why most tutorials skip the hard parts.

Open-source instead of SaaS — not for ideological reasons, but because I don't like it when a platform makes decisions on behalf of my clients.

TypeScript and Next.js — patterns that have survived contact with real projects.

AI in everyday work — I work with four AI agents. Not because it's trendy, but because it genuinely helps. I'll write about it honestly — including when it doesn't help.

One project owner

I like things done properly. I don't like it when someone delegates a project three levels down and pretends it's still a "partnership".

At Cloud House, a project has one owner: me. Which means if something goes wrong — I hear about it first, not last.

If you want to talk about a project or tell me something here is off — feel free to write.
